Tow, 70, a former resident of Superior, passed away early New Year's day at the Holy Family hospital at Estherville. He had been in ill health for several years. The Deceased was born February 23, 1878, in Norway, Iowa, and grew up in Benton County. On December 12, 1879 (s/b 1899) he married Tressie Wodstrchill of Norway and they moved to Emmet County where they lived until 1928 when they moved to Superior. In 1939 they moved to Terril where they have since resided. He is survived by his widow, three sons, Forrest of Spirit Lake, Russell of Superior, and Donald of Oakland, Calif., also two daughters, Mrs. Conrad Fogde of Graettinger and Mrs. Howard Bendixen of Terril. Six children preceded him in death. Services were held Tuesday, January 4 at the Terril Methodist church with Rev. Hutchins officiating. Burial was in the Superior cemetery. Relatives from away attending the last rites were Mr. and Mrs. Otis Grigsby, Kenneth Kimm and Porter Kimm of Blairstown, Frank Wodstrchill of Watkins and Mr. and Mrs. Irving Ellerston of Estherville. *Obituary is published in The Spirit Lake Beacon, Jan. 20, 1949. ------------- Known siblings are: Enos Tow, b. abt. 1880 William Tow, m.
