Tow ---------- Mrs. Tressie Tow Funeral services for Mrs. Tressie (Kathryn) Tow, 81, a longtime Terril resident, who died at the Holy Family Hospital, Wednesday, June 5, where she had been confined since suffering a broken hip in January, 1962, was held Saturday, June 8, at the Fuhrman Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Robert A Williams of the Terril and Superior Methodist churches, officiated at the service. Burial was held at the Superior cemetery. Pallbearers were the grandsons of Mrs. Tow, Keith, Duane, and Kenneth Tow, and Ronald Barrett; Romaine and Charles Bendixon, also grandsons, were unable to attend the service, and Kenneth Neilson and Charles Hasbrook served as the additional pallbearers. Mrs. Tow was born March 12, 1882 at Watkins in Benton County, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wensil Wodstrchill. She received her education in Watkins schools, and on Dec. 21, 1899, she married Lucius Tow at Marengo. She and her husband had lived in Emmet and Dickinson counties since 1900. He died Jan. 1, 1949. Survivors include three sons, Forrest of Jackson; Russell of Superior, and Donald of Red Bluff, Calif., and two daughters, Mrs. Conrad (Hazel) Fogde, Emmetsburg and Mrs. Howard (Ruby) Bendixon of Terril, 10 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
