LeRoy was raised in Plattsmouth and graduated from Plattsmouth High School. He was later married to Joanne Underwood in Papillion, Nebraska and together they raised five children, Don, Steve, Dan, Kim and Greg. LeRoy was raised in Plattsmouth and graduated from Plattsmouth High School. LeRoy enjoyed bird watching, fishing, hunting and spending time outdoors. He is survived by her Children: Don & Kathy Bashus of Cedar Rapids, IA; Steve & Peggy Bashus of Plattsmouth, NE; Dan Bashus of Plattsmouth, NE; Kim & Tom Gernert of Nehawka, NE; Greg & Christine Bashus of Plattsmouth, NE; 15 Grandchildren; 2 Great Grandchildren; Sister: Marie & Bill Falt of Bellevue, NE. Also survived by other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his Parents, Wife, Joanne Bashus; Brothers, Ed, Leonard and Jake Bashus. Funeral Services will be held on Thusday, October 13, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. at Living Water Church in Plattsmouth, Nebraska with Dr. Allan Wooters officiating. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 12, 2011 at 1:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. with family greeting friends from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at the Funeral Home. Interment will be in Oak Hill Cemetery in Plattsmouth, Nebraska. Memorials may be directed to the Disable Veterans Association.
