Lillia Miller was born Oct. 24,1691,in Spring Township, Cherokee County. She married Henry F. Golnitz. He died Jan. 31,1940. She then married Otto Engfer on June 11 1947. He died Feb. 24,1967. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Cherokee. Survivors include a sister, Delia Lawson, Minneapolis, Minn; four grandsons, Robert Golnitz, Long Prairie, Minn; Martin Golnitz, Englewood, Calif.; Darrell Golnitz, Kingsport, Tenn, and David Golnitz, South Saint Paul, Minn., and 10 great-grandchildren. In addition to her husbands, she is also preceded in death by a son, Melvin Golnitz. The family requests memorials to Trinity Lutheran Church, Cherokee, or the Lutheran Hour.
