Mr. Bowman was a longtime resident of the Coon Rapids area. He was born April 8, 1894, a son of Henry and Nancy Cromer Bowman. Surviving are a sister, Mrs. Melvin (Josephine) Galloway, Coon Rapids, and nine nephews and nieces. Six brothers and one sister preceded him in death. Mrs. LaVerne Smith was organist and Sam Cretsinger, soloist. Pallbearers were members of Gurney Parker American Legion Post No. 357. Burial, in charge of the Mason Funeral Home, was in Union Township Cemetery, Coon Rapids. Mr. Bowman, a lifelong resident of the Coon Rapids area, died Sept. 25 at St. Anthony Hospital in Carroll. He was a contractor and carpenter here for many years.
