Description	:	Lois I. Boland, 90, of Ney, passed away under hospice care at Twin Rivers Nursing Home, Defiance, surrounded by her family. Lois was born on May 6, 1927 in Defiance County, Ohio, the daughter of the late Carl and Edna (Knepper) Beer. She was a Ney High School graduate. On October 12, 1946, she was united in marriage to Norville Boland and he preceded her in death on July 14. 2000. Lois worked as a travel agent for Welch Travel and owned her own agency, New World Travel, in Bryan, Ohio. She was also a member of the Bryan Business Womens Association. Surviving Lois are her children, Ross (Karen) Boland, Ned (Rita) Boland, all of Sherwood, Becky (Mike) Fox of Stryker; four grandchildren, Ken (Kris) Boland, Lindsay (Austin) Imm, Lesley (Jim) Wagner, Nick Fox; great grandchildren, Kolleen, Kamryn, and Klayton Boland, Emily, and Riley Wagner, Mallory and Drake Imm; sister in law, Elaine Boland; brother in law, Marvin Crites; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her grandson, Steve Boland; sister Ruby Crites and brother in law, Ted Boland. Funeral services for Lois will be Friday at 10:00 at Smith & Brown Funeral Home, Hicksville. Visitation will be Thursday from 3:00 to 7:00 at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to CHP Hospice of Defiance or Twin Rivers Activity Fund.
