Percival Shaffer died on Saturday, feb 27, 1909, of blood poisoning. She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. Percival, and was born Aug. 29, 1883. She was united in marriage to Mr. Dudley Shaffer, Aug. 3, 1899, and to them were born four children, two sons and two daughters. The oldest child died in infancy in 1903, and the death of the younger daughter, chronicled above, leaves but two sons and the father of her immediate family. She also leaves a father, mother, five brothers and one sister to mourn her death. Funeral services were held at the U. B. Church on Sunday afternoon, conducted by the Rev. Mr. Hulse, and interment took place in the Pleasant Valley cemetery.
