They were the parents of Kathryn Louise, Robert, and William. Read More	Louise was the daughter of William Arts & Christine Manemann. She married Fred. A. Pielsticker on 12 Sep 1906 in Carroll, Iowa. They were the parents of Kathryn Louise, Robert, and William. Contributed by Strato - Mrs. Fred A Pielsticker died at 4 o'clock Tuesday morning, at her home, 215 Merchant street, following a brief illness starting with an attack of the grip which led to heart failure. Mrs. Pielsticker had been in poor health for nearly two years, but her condition was not believed to be critical. She underwent an operation two months ago and afterward appeared to be gaining strength, until she was stricken with the grip a week ago. The Rev. Father Hayes will conduct services at St. John’s Catholic church, at Farmer and Eleventh, Wednesday at 10 a.m. The casket will be open at the home at 9 o'clock. Following the services at the church the body will be taken to Carroll Iowa for interment. Mrs. Pielsticker’s sweet life had passed away. There never was a purer soul, a better wife, mother and friend. After a paroxysm of pain, she asked the physician, “Oh Doctor, will I ever live to raise my children?” Her last thoughts were of her loved ones---her husband and three little ones, Kathryn Louise, 2, Robert, 6, and William, 8. Louise Arts was born in Carroll, Ia., September 22, 1881. She was graduated from the Carroll High school and later attended Mt. Sinsinawa seminary. She was married to Fred A. Pielsticker September 12, 1906, and came to El Dorado as a bride on November 13 of that year. Surviving are her mother, Mrs. Wm. Art; four sisters: Mrs. R.J. Hamilton, Miss Emma Arts, Mrs. F.J. Rittenmaier, Mrs. J.C. Heider; and three brothers: W.A. Arts, F.H. Arts and J.C. Arts, all of whom reside in Carroll, Ia. Frank Arts will meet Mr. Pielsticker in Emporia or Topeka and accompany him to Carroll. Some El Dorado friends will accompany him to where he meets his brother-in law.
