Schardt officiating. The bridal party entered to the strains of the Lohrengrin (sic)wedding march, which was played by Mrs. Fred Mohrman after the nuptial vows were taken. The beautiful song "Jesus Still Lead On," was sung by Mrs. Walter Grueber and the Misses Martha Mohrman and Ernestine Grueber. Entering first were their only attendants Miss Elsie Mohrman (sic), sister of the bride, and Mr. Otto Dittmer, brother of the groom, bridesmaid and best man. Miss Mohrman (sic) worn a dress of Sinbad orange crepe. Her accessories ware in white. The bride wore a floor-length gown of white satin with a slight train. She wore a cap shaped finger tip veil, which was of silk tulle. She carried a bouquet of carnations, lilies and fernery and the bouquet was tied with a white satin ribbon. The groom wore a suit of Oxford grey. After the ceremony a wedding dinner was served to about 38 guests. The decorations were in pink and white. The bride and groom received many beautiful gifts. Mr. and Mrs. Dittmer will be at home on a farm north of Byron. Their many friends wish them much success and happiness in their married life. ========================= Belleville Telescope (Belleville, KS), Thursday, July 31, 1969; pg. 6 Louise Mohrmann Dittmer, daughter of Henry and Anna Cruse (sic) Mohrmann was born September 5, 1913 in Republic County, Kan., and died July 24 at the age of 55 years, 10 months and 19 days. February 23, 1936 she married Edwin Dittmer. Two children were born to this union. She lived in the Byron community all her life. She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran church, teaching Sunday School and active in the women's groups. She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, Fred, three sisters, Edna Mohrmann, Marie Dankerbring and Elsie Paul. Survivors are: her husband; two children, Edna, Mrs. Dale Gray of Denver, and Harold and wife of Riverdale, Ill.; three brothers, John of Deshler, Herman and Carl of Byron; three sisters, Meta Grueber, Anna Grueber and Martha Fangmeyer, all of Byron; two grandchildren. Funeral services were held in St. Paul Lutheran church (sic) July 28, 10:30 a.m. Rev. P.W. Pilgrim officiating. Burial was in St. Paul Lutheran cemetery (sic).
