OBITUARY: "Miss Louise Harrsch was born at Walnut, NE, November 10, 1880, and died at her home in Niobrara, NE, January 29, 1953 at the age of 72 years and two months and nineteen days. Her girlhood was spent on the farms around Niobrara with the exception of a year and a half when the family lived in Omaha. On April 26, 1905 she was united in marriage to Robert H. Cash and to this union two daughters were born, Marion, now Mrs. William Rose, and Roberta, who preceded her mother in death, eleven years ago. Mr. Cash passed away September 9, 1947. Mrs. Cash was a member of the Niobrara Presbyterian Church and was an active member of the Ladies Society. Even though it was difficult for her to get about, she was faithful always, in calling on shut-ins. She will be greatly missed by her many friends. She was also a second mother to all her nieces and nephews. She leaves to mourn her passing her two daughters, Marion and Mildred, one brother, Ted Harrsch, and three grandchildren, Bill, Terry and Bonnie Sue; also many nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held at 1:00 pm, Sunday, February 1, at the Presbyterian church in Niobrara conducted by Reverend Joseph Walstad. Hymns "Rock of Ages", "No Night There" and "Old Rugged Cross" were sung by a ladies quartet, Mrs. Tom O'Connor, Mrs. Walter Scott, Mrs. Abner Stubben, Miss Patricia Stubben. Pallbearers were Harley Eberley, Gailen Miller, Ray Hurley, Abner Stubben, W.J. Bare and V.W. Marshall, Jr. Interment was made in L'Eau Qui Court cemetery. Out-of-town friends and relatives who attended the funeral were S/Sgt. Terrence Rose, Scott Field, IL; Mr. & Mrs. Leo Cushman, Belle Plaine, KS; Mrs. C.O. Mitchell, Wayne; Mr. & Mrs. Ted Cash and Robert Joe Cash, Wichita, KS; Mrs. Lydia Pageler, Sheridan, WY; Mr. & Mrs. William Dannert and family, Winnetoon; Mr. & Mrs. Ray Jurley and Mrs. Chris Wintz, Creighton; Mr. & Mrs. Ed Dobry, Mr. & Mrs. Clark Hoard, Mr. & Mrs. Tom Tikalsky, Mr. & Mrs. William Fosterman, Verdigre."
