She departed from this life on March 14, 1991 at Grand Island, Nebraska at the age of 87 years. As a child, Lula moved to Howard County with her family. She attended rural school southeast of Wolbach. In 1918 she moved into Wolbach where she continued her education in the Wolbach schools. She departed from this life on March 14, 1991 at Grand Island, Nebraska at the age of 87 years. As a child, Lula moved to Howard County with her family. She attended rural school southeast of Wolbach. In 1918 she moved into Wolbach where she continued her education in the Wolbach schools. As a young lady before her marriage, Lula worked in the Borre Grocery at Wolbach for her brother. On January 8, 1930, Lula was united in marriage to Anthony "Tone" Nealon at St. Paul. The couple made their home on various farms in the Wolbach area where they farmed. In 1952 the couple moved into Wolbach. Lula worked for a time at the Old Timer's Cafe in Wolbach. Anthony passed away in August of 1959. Lula continued to make her home in Wolbach until December of 1990 when she entered the Coolidge Center in Palmer. She was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church of Wolbach and the American Legion Auxiliary #236. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Anthony; son Gene; two grandchildren, Jerry Timmons and Wanda Sandt; three brothers, Bill, Alfred and John Borre; and five sisters, Carrie Martin, Anna Brockway, Frances Johnson, Rose Hutchinson and Mable Neumann.
