His early childhood was spent on a farm, and he received his education in a country school, and the Pawnee City high school from which he graduated in 1930. Read More	OBITUARY-THE PAWNEE REPUBLICAN 0CTOBER 11, 1956 LYLE ERNEST ANDREWS Lyle Ernest Andrews, the son of Lee J. and Edith Andrews, was born on a farm south of Pawnee City, Nebr., on June 18, 1910, and passed away at Naturita, Colo., on oct. 2, 1956. His early childhood was spent on a farm, and he received his education in a country school, and the Pawnee City high school from which he graduated in 1930. On March 3, 1934 he was united in marriage to Leona Shaw, and this union was blessed with five children. For several years he followed the occupation of farming, and 10 years ago moved to Colorado, where he was engaged in mining. Lyle was greatly devoted to his parents and his family. He was a good son, husband and father, and his greatest interest in life was his family. He is survived by his wife, his four children, Dyla Griffith, Judy Cooper, Richard and Roger, also one grandson, Leonard Griffith, his mother, Edith Andrews; three sisters, Sara Schroeder, Shubert, Mabel Richardson, Smith Center, Kans., Edith Lee Parli, Pawnee City; four brothers, Roy of Dalton, Lloyd and Lee of Pawnee City and Adelbert of Lexington, Mo.; two sons-in-law, Leslie Griffith and John Cooper, and other relatives and friends. His father, one son and one brother preceded him in death. The funeral service was held Saturday afternoon at the Pleasant Valley EUB church. Revs. Duane Lenz and W. N. Wallis officiating. Burial was in the Pleasant Valley Cemetery.
