Funeral Service will be 10 a.m. on Wednesday, March 10, 2010, at the Geo. M. Wittich-Lewis Home for Funeral and Cremation Services. The Rev. Mary Howell will officiate the services. Casket bearers will be Randy Kilby, Scott Dickey, Troy Fridley, Damon Anson, Anthony Estrada and Brandon VanBlarcom. Honorary bearers will be Jason Schmidt and Steve Knock. Read More	MUSCATINE, Iowa — Lysle William "Bill" Hepker, 65, Muscatine, passed away Saturday, March 6, 2010, at his home in Muscatine. Funeral Service will be 10 a.m. on Wednesday, March 10, 2010, at the Geo. M. Wittich-Lewis Home for Funeral and Cremation Services. The Rev. Mary Howell will officiate the services. Casket bearers will be Randy Kilby, Scott Dickey, Troy Fridley, Damon Anson, Anthony Estrada and Brandon VanBlarcom. Honorary bearers will be Jason Schmidt and Steve Knock. Committal services will take place at the Life Transition and Cremation Center in Muscatine Memorial Park Cemetery, full military rites by the V.F.W. Post No. 1565 and the American Legion Post No. 27. Following the funeral service, a time of food and fellowship will be held at the New Hope United Methodist Church. Memorials may be directed to the University of Iowa Pediatric Activity Center in his memory. Bill was born on December 1, 1944, in Muscatine, the son of Lysle R. and Dollie Hill Hepker. He was a 1962 graduate of Muscatine High School. He served in the United States Army from 1970-71. He married Judith A. Keller on October 5, 1974. He worked for Fry Electric for 28 years and then Muscatine Electric for two years. He enjoyed camping with his family and friends at N&L Campground on the Mississippi and fishing on the Mississippi and Cedar Rivers. He also loved his work as an electrician because of all of the people he met. Most of all, he dearly loved to spend time with his family. Bill will be deeply missed by his wife, Judith Hepker of Muscatine; his children, Lauri Kilby and husband, Randy, of Davenport, Annette Estrada and Scott Dickey of Muscatine, Christine Knock and husband, Steve, of Houston, Texas, Laura Curtis of Muscatine, Jennifer Fridley and husband, Troy, of Muscatine, Kimberly Schmidt and husband, Jason, of San Antonio, Texas, Shelley Hepker and friend, Tiffany Reed, of Muscatine and Chad Hepker of Arizona; 23 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Pam Krueger and husband, Earl, of Letts, and Joleen Russell and husband, Randy, of Fruitland. He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Larry Joe Hill and a sister, Angela Newton. No relation
