She was married to Frank Boorse and was widowed while still a young woman. In her later years she lived with her brother, Al and Dempsey Overman until the time of their death. She also had two other brothers, Milt and Cory B. (Ked) Overman, also deceased. She was an employee of the Mental Health Institute, until the time of her retirement several years ago. Since she became an invalid she has resided in Des Moines. Her survivors include her nieces, Hazel Risser of Oakland, California, Myrtle Young, Des Moines, Lucille Sterp of Forrest City, and Mamie Northup of Creston; nephews Ronald and Clarence Overman of Villisca.
