She passed away on October 16, 2009 in Superior, Nebraska at the age of 93 years, 6 months and 10 days. Margaret attended Kimball County Rural Schools and Edgar Public Schools. She was baptized and confirmed on November 17, 1940 at the Clover Trinity Lutheran Church at Filer, Idaho by Pastor Danafelt. Read More	Margaret Ellen Troudt, the daughter of Charles Dell and Mina May (Chase) Moffatt, was born on April 6, 1916 at Edgar, Nebraska. She passed away on October 16, 2009 in Superior, Nebraska at the age of 93 years, 6 months and 10 days. Margaret attended Kimball County Rural Schools and Edgar Public Schools. She was baptized and confirmed on November 17, 1940 at the Clover Trinity Lutheran Church at Filer, Idaho by Pastor Danafelt. On April 18, 1935 she was united in marriage to John LaVern Troudt at Mankato, Kansas and to this union was born three children. Margaret was a member of the Centennial Lutheran Church in Superior, the Rebekah Lodge on Nelson, Nebraska, she enjoyed fancy handwork, crocheting and knitting. She loved nature, the change of seasons, camping, fishing and later in life Rving with her daughters, Jan and Joan. During her lifetime she lived in the communities of Edgar, Kimball and Nelson, Nebraska, Buhl, Idaho and Alma and Superior, Nebraska. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband LaVern on November 19, 1991, her son, LeRoy "Butch" Troudt, two great grandchildren, Sydney and Bailey Sullivan, brothers, Wayne and Harold Moffatt and sisters, Elpha Heinrichs and Sarah Lessig. She is survived by her daughters, Margaret "Joan" Zielinski and Janet "Jan" Kuhlmann both of Superior, Nebraska. Nine grandchildren, Lori and Husband Tom Flick, Kim and Husband Tom Chambers, Barbara and husband Bill Rudolph, Shari and husband Steve Iovino, Kelly and husband Brad Swanson, Matt Sullivan and wife Teresa, Scott Sullivan and wife Kristi, Rick (Troudt) Hunter and Mark (Troudt) Hunter. 18 Great-grandchildren, Christian and Daniel Chambers, Christopher, Adele and Joey Flick, Billy and Kevin Rudolph, Nathanael and Jerrad Craft, Adam, Meghan and Carly Swanson, Mattison and John Sullivan and Zoe' and David Sullivan along with a host of nieces, nephews, others relatives and friends. Funeral services were held on Wednesday, October 21, 2009 at 10:00 AM from the Centennial Lutheran Church in Superior, Nebraska with Rev. Brian Earl officiating. Music was "The Old Rugged Cross" with Alfred & Janell Hanson sing the duet and "Amazing Grace" as a congregational with Heather Dahl as organist. Pallbearers were Tom Chambers, Tom Flick, Bill Rudolph, Steve Iovino, Brad Swanson, Matthew Sullivan, Scott Sullivan and Adam Swanson Honorary pallbearers were Shari Iovino, Kelly Swanson, Lori Flick, Kim Chambers and Barbara Rudolph. Interment was in the Nelson Cemetery at Nelson, Nebraska. Memorials may go in care of the Centennial Lutheran Church. Megrue-Price Funeral Home of Superior, Nebraska was in charge of the arrangements.
