Description	:	Second wife of Thomas McGiffin. It isn't known exactly when they married, possibly in the mid-1860's. Thomas had six children by his first wife, Sarah Clark McGiffin. Sarah died in December 1861, shortly after the birth of their last daughter. Margaret, upon her marriage to Thomas McGiffin, was then the 'mother' to his children and in some of the obituaries for the children Margaret is referred to as their mother which has led to some family trees misunderstanding the difference.
