Description	:	Margaret M. Lewellen, 90, of Miller, S.D., died Tuesday, May 29, 2007 at the Miller Good Samaritan Center. Funeral services were held Friday, June 1 at the United Methodist Church, Miller, with Pastor Dave Andrews officiating. Burial was in Hillcrest Cemetery, Miller, directed by Reck Funeral Home, Miller. Casket bearers were Clayton and Bryon Welk, Rodney and Billie Lewellen, Kelly Stenzel and Tamara Neal. On September 26, 1934 she married Willard Lewellen. They made their home in Truman, Minn., and also in California and Oklahoma, and later in South Dakota. Margaret was an active member of the Methodist Church. She taught Sunday School and the Methodist Youth Group for many years. She enjoyed gardening, sewing, crafts and many other activities. She is survived by her three children, Ernest (Alona) Lewellen of Miller, Darla Welk of Miller, and Greg (Karen) Lewellen of Burnsville, Minn.; nine grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren; three sisters, Una McKinney, Dorothy Manning and Ida Moser; one brother, Bud (Shirley) Palmer; and several nieces and nephews. Margaret was preceded in death by her parents; her husband in 1983; two great-grandchildren; four sisters, Stella Christenson, Ella Kuper, Merley Droppers and Hazel Hancock; and eight brothers-in-law.
