Description	:	Marian Price Vaught passed from her earthly existence on Thursday, March 26, 2015 at Commonwealth Assisted Living in Abingdon, Va. Marian was born on September 17, 1922 in Grayson County, Va. She was the daughter of B. H. (Hack) Price and Fannie Darnell Price. Marian was the wife of the late Sidney Dace Vaught. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Dan Wheeler Price and Ben T. Price and a sister, June Price Owens. Marian was born on September 17, 1922 in Grayson County, Va. She was the daughter of B. H. (Hack) Price and Fannie Darnell Price. Marian was the wife of the late Sidney Dace Vaught. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Dan Wheeler Price and Ben T. Price and a sister, June Price Owens. Marian is survived by one son, Sidney Price Vaught and his wife, Doris, of Hilton Head, S.C. She is also survived by two grandchildren, Sarah Stutts, of Salisbury, N.C. and Benjamin Reed Vaught, of Johnson City, Tenn as well as her step grandsons, Chris Roberton and Will Robertson. She has seven great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews all of whom she treasured. Marian was a member of Grant Methodist Church. She worked for many years at Hoffman's Store in Troutdale as well as Ben Franklin and Guynns in Independence. The family wishes to express its utmost appreciation for the care and attention provided by the staff of Independence Nursing Home and Commonwealth Assisted Living during Marian's illness. In lieu of flowers Marian and her family requests that donations be made in her memory to Grant Methodist Church in Troutdale or St. John Lutheran in Abingdon both of whom ministered to her spiritual health through the years. We will gather to celebrate her life and commend her to her God at 3 p.m. on Saturday, March 28, 2015 at Reins-Sturdivant Funeral Chapel in Independence, Va. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 1 to 3 p.m. The service will be conducted by Pastor Scott Homesley. A brief graveside service and interment will take place at Grant Cemetey following the service.
