Miss Esch had been a member of Freeman hospital staff of registered nurses in Joplin, Mo., since 1946, when she returned to make her home in Pittsburg after several years of service in South Dakota and Los Angeles, Calif., hospitals. Miss Esch had been a member of Freeman hospital staff of registered nurses in Joplin, Mo., since 1946, when she returned to make her home in Pittsburg after several years of service in South Dakota and Los Angeles, Calif., hospitals. Born in Pittsburg November 7, 1894, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Mathias Esch, she was a graduate of Mount Carmel hospital school of nursing. She took post graduate work in nursing in Chicago, Ill. Miss Esch was a member of St. Mary's Catholic church of Pittsburg and the Altar Society, and was active in work of the National Council of Catholic Women. Surviving are four sisters, Sister Mary Mathias of Mount Clemens, Mich., Miss Beatrice Esch of Los Angeles, Miss Agnes Esch of Pittsburg route 3, and Miss Isabelle Esch of Hutchinson, Kan.; four brothers, Joe Esch and Max Esch of Pittsburg route 3, Julius Esch, 426 West Fourth street, Pittsburg, and John Esch of Wichita. Miss Esch's body will remain at Naylor-Quinn chapel until 2 o'clock Sunday afternoon, when it will be taken to her home, where rosary will be recited at 7:30 o'clock Sunday night. Requiem mass will be at 9:30 o'clock Monday morning in St. Mary's Catholic church by Monsignor Alex G. Stremel. Burial will be in St. Mary's cemetery.
