She was born Nov. 4, 1927, in Ottumwa to Lewis Edgar and Mary Mabel Smith Dolton. She married Daniel Maxwell Mace Jr. on Nov. 13, 1943, in Lancaster, MO. He preceded her in death on March 4, 2001, in Ottumwa. She had worked at the Stardust Motel in Ottumwa in housekeeping and as a clerk. She was preceded in death by her parents; her twin sister, Martha Hartley; three half sisters, Hazel, Dorothy and Eunice Dolton; a brother, Irvin Dolton; and two half brothers, Robert and Don Dolton. Funeral services will be 1 pm Monday at Reece Funeral Home; Pastor David Albert of Living Hope Bible Church in Eldon officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Lawn Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 1 pm Sunday with the family present from 3-5 pm Sunday. Memorials may be made to the National Parkinson's Foundation.
