Atchison Daily Globe, 04 Feb 1920, Wed, Page 9 Mrs. Herron Passes Away At eleven o'clock this morning Mrs. Henry Herron, seventy years of age, passed away at her home, near Seventh and Spring streets. Mrs. Herron has been ill for the past four years with Bright's disease but only during the last two weeks has she been bedfast. Mrs. Herron has lived in Atchison and the vicinity during most of her life. She was born in the Missouri bottoms and well-known in that district, where she lived for some years before moving to Atchison. Mr. Herron is at present employed in the Blair mill. Besides her husband, Mrs. Herron is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Fred Pallor. who with her husband, lives at the Herron home; Mrs. Nels Lawrence of Rushville, and Mrs. Rose Gray, of Oregon state; and two sons, Andy Lewis, 906 Commercial street, and John Yocum of Bean lake. Mrs. John Downey, and Mrs. Malinda Morris of this city and two brothers, George Funderberg, who lives south of the city and William Funderberg, 904 Commercial street, also survive. Funeral arrangements have not been completed, and will be announced later. Matt Yocum passed in October of 1889 The Atchison Daily Champion, 29 Oct 1889.
