Description	:	Martha Jeanne Barnard, aged 90, of Marietta, Georgia, formerly of Englewood, Florida died peacefully on May 29, 2013 at Elmcroft Assisted Living facility in Roswell, Georgia. Martha was born July 7, 1922, in Bippus, Indiana, the daughter of Nettie Troyer and Earl Rogers. Martha was born July 7, 1922, in Bippus, Indiana, the daughter of Nettie Troyer and Earl Rogers. Martha graduated from Broken Bow High School in Nebraska and attended business school in St. Paul, Nebraska. Martha met her future husband in Denver, Colorado. In 1943, Martha married Edward C. Barnard in Victorville, California. After his service was completed, they moved to Camden, New Jersey in 1949 until 1987 when they moved to Englewood, Florida. Martha was a member of Saint Joseph's Pre-Cathederal in Camden. She is pre-deceased by her husband Edward Barnard and two brothers, Dick Rogers and Max Rogers. Martha is survived by her sister Bonnie Hoover and brother Howard White, her son Mark Barnard of Marietta, Georgia, her daughter Barbara Heinhold of Rockville, Maryland and a son Charles Barnard of Cambridge, Vermont. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren, Kirsten Barnard, Kimberly Hahn, Douglas Barnard, Catherine Heinhold, Noelle Fell, Margaret Notatro, Alison Meeley, Justin Barnard and Daniel Barnard. The great grandchildren are Morgan Hahn, Sara Melley, Liam Melley, Aidan Melley and Kevin Melley. Martha requested a private burial. Funeral arrangements provided by SouthCare Cremation & Funeral Society. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be sent in her name to Vitas Hospice Care at 1575 Northside Drive, Building 300, Suite 375, Atlanta, Georgia 30318 or Elmcroft Assisted Living at 400 Marietta Highway, Roswell, Georgia 30075.
