Description	:	Stratford Courier November 2, 1905 Obituary Landgren Mrs. Martha Landgren died at her home in Stratford on Sunday, October 29th, at 4 o'clock p.m. at the age of 79 years, 6 months and 14 days. Martha Landgren was born in Segerstad, Sweden on the 14th day of Apri. 1826, and was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran church of that country. She arrived in America in company with her husband, Olof Landgren, in 1868 and moved to Sac county, Iowa, where they lived for many years and afterwards made their home in Stratford. Read More	Stratford Courier November 2, 1905 Obituary Landgren Mrs. Martha Landgren died at her home in Stratford on Sunday, October 29th, at 4 o'clock p.m. at the age of 79 years, 6 months and 14 days. Martha Landgren was born in Segerstad, Sweden on the 14th day of Apri. 1826, and was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran church of that country. She arrived in America in company with her husband, Olof Landgren, in 1868 and moved to Sac county, Iowa, where they lived for many years and afterwards made their home in Stratford. She joined the Lutheran church at this place in 1895 and has ever since been a faithful member in that church. She leaves her husband and son and many friends to mourn her departure. Blessed are the dead that die in the Lord. The funeral was held Wednesday forenoon at 10:30 o'clock from the home and at 11:30 from the Swedish Lutheran church, Rev. A.P. Martin officiating. * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * Born Margta Larsdotter on April 14, 1826 at Segersta, Gävleborg, Sweden, the daughter of Lars Abrahamsson and Ingrid Jonsdotter. She was baptized on April 14, 1826 at Segersta parish.
