Description	:	Stratford Courier December 6, 1906 Obituary Landgren Olof Landgren was born in Hanebo, Helsingland, Sweden on the 19th of February, 1824. In early childhood he was baptized in the name of the Triune God and afterwards instructed in the Gospel and confirmed. In marriage he was united to Martha Larsdotter. He came to United States in company with his family in 1868 and stayed a few weeks in Bishop Hill, Illinois, but moved afterwards to Iowa. He located first in Swede Bend and later in Sac county. Read More	Stratford Courier December 6, 1906 Obituary Landgren Olof Landgren was born in Hanebo, Helsingland, Sweden on the 19th of February, 1824. In early childhood he was baptized in the name of the Triune God and afterwards instructed in the Gospel and confirmed. In marriage he was united to Martha Larsdotter. He came to United States in company with his family in 1868 and stayed a few weeks in Bishop Hill, Illinois, but moved afterwards to Iowa. He located first in Swede Bend and later in Sac county. After many years of hard work as a farmer he came to Stratford to live the remaining years of his life. On his arrival here he and his wife joined the Lutheran church and have always kept up a regular standing in that church. He died peacefully on the morning of Thanksgiving Day after a few weeks illness at the age of 82 years, 9 months and 10 days. His wife had gone on before him to the blissful rest. He leaves a son and daughter-in-law and other relatives and friends to mourn his departure. The funeral services were held at the Lutheran church Sunday at 2 p.m., Rev. Martin preaching the funeral sermon on "There remaineth a rest to the people of God. Let us labor therefore to enter into that rest," Heb. 4:9-11. The remains were interred in the Oakwood Cemetery.
