In those short three years of knowing her, she made some fun memories for me! I remember riding in our big old green station wagon, grandma would flip out her dentures and make us kids laugh. I remember her grapevine on her cute little house by the Fayette United Methodist Church...which is sadly no longer there. the grape juice she made was absolutely the BEST!!! I remember the moss growing in the cracks of her sidewalks and along her tree and my cousins and I always picking/pulling it out. I remember going to visit her and she would always give us circus peanuts and Brock's candies. Most of all, for some reason, I remember she would throw caramel cubes into her Lily of the valleys knowing that I wanted to go see her flowers. I would find the caramels and be so excited! To this day...I still think there should be caramels and Lily of the valleys when I see them. :) My talented mama Myrna (Snow Cordy) Brown, painted me a canvas in 2018 of Lily of the Valley with some hidden caramels in (I will post the pic on this page!!). This lady was SO VERY special and she was my mama Myrna's BESTEST friend.
