Description	:	Mary Darlene Blythe, 71, of Mount Pleasant, died Thursday, June 28, 2007, at her home. Born Nov. 2, 1935, near Trenton, she was the daughter of Eugene Max and Ruby Leona Parker Woods. On June 4, 1935, she married John Blythe in Mount Pleasant. Mrs. Blythe was a waitress at the former Hamburger Inn in Mount Pleasant. She also worked as a CNA for Henry County Health Center and in production for Metromail Corp. She did seasonal work in the sorting department of Pioneer Seed Co. of Mount Pleasant. Born Nov. 2, 1935, near Trenton, she was the daughter of Eugene Max and Ruby Leona Parker Woods. On June 4, 1935, she married John Blythe in Mount Pleasant. Survivors include her husband; two sons, Darold Blythe and Charles Blythe, both of Mount Pleasant; two brothers, James Woods and Charles Woods, both of Mount Pleasant; three sisters, Willa Church of Lockridge, Regina Ackles of Trenton and Shirley Stevens of Mount Pleasant; two grandchildren; one step-grandson; two great-granddaughters and one step-great-granddaughter. She is preceded in death by her parents, one grandson and two sisters. The funeral procession for Mrs. Blythe will begin at 12:15 p.m. at the Weir and Kimzey Funeral Home. The funeral for Mrs. Blythe will be held at 1 p.m. today at White Oak Cemetery in rural Rome with the Rev. Monte Knudsen officiating. Burial will be in White Oak Cemetery.
