Read More	MARY HELEN (SEDIVY) SORENSON Mrs. Mary Helen Sorenson, 77, a long-time resident of the Hingham area, passed away Friday, March 10, 1978, at a Havre hospital. Born June 21, 1900, in East Grand Forks, Minnesota, she moved with her family to North Dakota and then to Hingham in 1913 where her parents, Thomas and Mary Sedivy, opened a store. She married Oscar Sorenson on November 17, 1920, at Havre, and they operated a Ford Agency in Hingham for many years. Upon selling the agency, the Sorensons farmed in the area. Sorenson passed away in 1968. Survivors include a son, Edwin Sorenson, of Hingham; a daughter, Mrs. William (Mae) Nickens of Spokane; a sister, Mrs. Rose Kocar, of Hingham; and two grandchildren and one great grandchild. Mrs. Sorenson was a member of Our Lady of Ransom Alter Society. ----- Sympathy is extended to the family of Mary Sorenson, who passed away in the Havre hospital last Friday after an extended illness with cancer. Funeral services were held for her Monday morning. Here to attend the funeral were her daughter, Mae and Murray Nickens and Bonny of Spokane, and nieces, Dr. Marcella Kocar of Mt. Pleasant, Michigan, and Mary Ann Brockway of Anchorage, Alaska.
