John Kohnke was celebrant at high mass and rosary was recited at the home of the deceased at 7:30 Friday evening. The pallbearers were Andrew Lipp, Vincel Horinek, William Horinek, Jim Smrz, Louis Kocar, and Frank Kocar. Interment was in the family lot at the Hingham Union cemetery. Following a year of illness, Mrs. Mary Sedivy passed away in a Havre hospital on Tuesday evening, February 10. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1934. The deceased came to Hingham with her husband and family in 1913 from Grafton, North Dakota, and during the past 35 years of continuous residence here she faithfully fulfilled her obligations as a devoted wife and mother to her beloved family. Mrs. Mary Sedivy was born in Czechoslovakia in 1873 and, when a child of two years, came to America with her parents in 1875 and located at New Prague, Minnesota, where she grew to womanhood. She was united in marriage to Thomas Sedivy at Vessleyville, North Dakota, on February 11, 1896, to which union three children were born. Vincent Sedivy, Mrs. Oscar Sorenson and Mrs. Rose Kocar, all of this community. She is also survived by one of three brothers, James Vakoch, of this community. Those from out of town who attended the services were: Olaf Rovreit of Hot Springs, Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Sedivy of Columbia Falls, Joe Kocar of Kalispell, Harry Alex of Cut Bank, Mr and Mrs. Glen Alex of Invernesss, Walter Hoyt, Mr. and Mrs. J. Kolar and Mr. and Mrs. C. Ditmar, all of Havre. Deepest sympathies are extended to the bereaved children and brother.
