Mary Josephine Bingham McCarl The fifth child of Mr. and Mrs. B. F. Bingham was born June 28, 1886 in Rockdale twp., Hand County, where she spent the most of her early life until November 26, 1909, when she was united in marriage to Norval McCarl of Pleasant Valley twp., where she went to reside. To this union was born three children, 2 sons, Herley 16, Wilson 11 and a baby daughter Jessie Margaret, 9 days old. Mary passed away fom this life July 24, 1926, leaving her husband and children, an aged father, five sisters, two brothers and other relatives and a host of friends to mourn her loss. She was a member of the Rebecca lodge of Miller, S.D., and also was a Lady Muscovite. She was a faithful wife and loving mother, a friend to all who knew her. Lonely our home is without her today. But why should we mourn or complain. When we know that our loved one will suffer no more. Her body is free from all pain. Only a few more mile stones to pass A few more crosses t bear, 'till we clasp the hand of our loved one again. In that beatiful home over there. ~~~~~~~ *B. F. Bingham (Benjamin Franklin)
