Mrs Simpson returned Tuesday To be with her mother. Mr and Mrs Clarence arrived Sunday from Cheyenne. Born in Geneva NY March??1861, Mary Catherine was the daughter of Mr and Mrs Ezra Chaffee. They came to Kansas in early days and helped build this community. Her Husband, Israel Barkyoum passed away many years ago. Mrs Barkyoum was the last of her family. Surviving are her daughter, Estella H Simpson and husband Dick of Enid Okala.; three sons, George living in California, Clarence and wife of Cheyenne, Wyom; Emmet and wife Marie of the home; and their families, also other relatives. Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at two o'clock a the Mert Schwensen Chapel. Burial was in Greenwood Cemetery.
