Read More	The following provided by Find A Grave contributor "Cara": The River Press, Fort Benton, Mont., 25 March 1953 Old Time Resident Answers Final Call Mrs. Mathilda Angeline Miller, age 94, passed away at the St. Clare hospital in this city Monday of this week. Mrs. Miller had been in ill health at various times during the past three or four years, and this illness had extended over several weeks. Mathilda Angeline Houtz was born at Bluffton, Indiana, on Oct. 12, 1858, where she spent her early life. She was united in marriage to Franklin Theodore Miller, at Bluffton, on May 29, 1882. The family came to Montana in 1913 and homesteaded in the Pleasant Valley section. Three sons had settled near their homestead in 1910. Mr. Miller passed away on Feb. 18, 1926. Since the death of her husband Mrs. Miller had to continue to live at the home of her sons, Clyde and Claude, and with her daughter, Mrs. Grace Harnish. Mrs. Miller was well known throughout this area and was loved and respected by all who knew her. For the past number of years the neighbors have gathered on her birthday each Oct. 12th, to pay their respects to "Grandma" Miller. Her passing will be mourned by a large circle of friends who have known her during her 40 years residence in the Pleasant Valley section. Mrs. Miller is survived by three sons, Clyde and Claude Miller, of Pleasant Valley, and Guy Miller, Chouteau; two daughters, Grace Harnish and Hazel Irene Swerdfeger, of Pleasant Valley; four grandchildren and a host of friends. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, March 27th, at the Benton Funeral Home chapel, conducted by the Rev. Roger Robison, pastor of the First Methodist Church of this city. Burial will be made in the family plot in Riverside cemetery. ..........
