Born in Sainte-Marie-de-Kent, NB, she was the daughter of the late Thaddé and the late Béatrice Collette (née Cormier). May was a woman of heart, she always took care of others and her family was her priority. She loved to cook and make sure everyone had a full stomach. She had a passion for flowers. Born in Sainte-Marie-de-Kent, NB, she was the daughter of the late Thaddé and the late Béatrice Collette (née Cormier). May was a woman of heart, she always took care of others and her family was her priority. She loved to cook and make sure everyone had a full stomach. She had a passion for flowers. At home you could always observe beautiful flowers very well maintained. May is survived by her three sons: Roméo Maillet (Joan) of Massachusetts; Bernard Maillet (Murielle) and Guy Maillet (Charline) both from Bouctouche; her six daughters: Rose-Marie Maillet (Jean-Paul) of Florida; Bernice Maillet from Sainte-Marie-de-Kent; Gloria Gaudet (Jean) from Saint-Paul; Gisèle Allain (Jean-Marie), Norma Richard (Marcel) both from Sainte-Marie; and Jacqueline Maillet (Gene) from Bouctouche; her grandchildren: Carole, Chantal, Sylvette, Joline, Matthew, Lisa, Rachelle, Stéphane, Michael, Amy, Stéphanie, Chanelle and Christelle; a sister-in-law, Georgina; to his great-grandchildren :: as well as to several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, May now rests with her husband who is also the father of her children, Hector Maillet; one grandson, Shawn; her six brothers: Lionel, Émile, Elias, Alyre, Phillippe and Alban; as well as with her four sisters: Zella, Madelaine, Élise and Jeanne. Due to restrictions related to the current pandemic, there will be no visitation. A private celebration of his life will be held at the Passage funeral chapel of Shediac Bridge.
