Requiem Eucharist is 10 a.m., Sat urday, Dec. 31, at All Saints Epis copal Church with the Rev. Terence Keefe officiating. Military Graveside Services will be by the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Post No. 3541, at Riverside Cemetery. Mr. Korrey was born May 15, 1913, to John and Mabel Korrey in Gothenburg, Neb. His family moved from Gothenburg to Iliff, where he at tended school. He graduated from Iliff High School in 1934. He joined the U. S. Army, serving as a Staff Sgt. in the 7th Army Air Force in World War II. Mr. Korrey married Eva Solomon on Dec. 18, 1965, in Peetz. After his discharge from the Army, he worked for the USDA Soil Conservation Service until his retirement in November 1978. He was a member of the Elks Lodge, All Saints Episcopal Church, and was a charter member of the Iliff Lions Club. Mr. Korrey is survived by his wife, Eva, of Haxtun; sister, Mary May of Sterling; brothers, Dave and wife Doloris Korrey of Sterling; and George and wife Minnie Korrey of Iliff; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Maggie Dolan; brothers, Ed, Ronald, and Donald Korrey; brothers-in-law Joe Dolan and Ed May. Memorial coniributions may be made to the Mike Koney Memori al Fund.
