Mrs. Six was born May 31, 1907, in Lakenan, Mo., the daughter of Harry E. and Pearl SHUMATE MYERS. She married Everett W. SIX Dec. 1, 1929, in Fairfield. He preceded her in death. Mrs. SIX moved to Fairfield in 1922. She graduated from Fairfield High School in 1926 and attended the Fort Madison Business College. She was employed by the Department of Transportation for 22 1/2 years. Mrs. Six was a member of First United Methodist Church. Her memberships included Deborah Circle, Philathea Sunday School Class and United Methodist Women, with which she was district officer for seven years. She enjoyed Bible studies, working in the church, traveling and craft-making. Survivors include one daughter, Joan BOYD of Bellevue, Neb.; four grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; and one brother, Cecil MYERS of Davenport. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; one son, James SIX; three grandchildren; and one sister, Gwendolyn (sic. Gwendolyn Myers ).
