Description	:	KING, NC ~ Mrs. Mildred Watson Flynn Burchette, 84, of 115 White Road, King died Tuesday, Sept. 21, 2004, at Universal Health Care in King. She was born Aug. 26, 1920 in Surry County to the late Herman and Etta Flippin Watson. Mrs. Burchette was retired from Western Electric as an inspector. She was a member of Olive Grove Baptist Church in Pinnacle. Survivors include her daughter, Nancy Hiatt of Huntsville, Ala.; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Wayne and Linda Flynn of King and Clarence Flynn of Washington, D.C.; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and a sister, Dovie Marsh of Ararat,... Read More	KING, NC ~ Mrs. Mildred Watson Flynn Burchette, 84, of 115 White Road, King died Tuesday, Sept. 21, 2004, at Universal Health Care in King. She was born Aug. 26, 1920 in Surry County to the late Herman and Etta Flippin Watson. Mrs. Burchette was retired from Western Electric as an inspector. She was a member of Olive Grove Baptist Church in Pinnacle. Survivors include her daughter, Nancy Hiatt of Huntsville, Ala.; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Wayne and Linda Flynn of King and Clarence Flynn of Washington, D.C.; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and a sister, Dovie Marsh of Ararat, N.C. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Burchette was preceded in death by her husband, Grover Martin Flynn; an infant son, Grover Flynn Jr.; and two brothers, Julius and Hadley Watson. The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 25, at Olive Grove Baptist Church in Pinnacle. Dr. Carl Childs and the Rev. James Reams will officiate. Interment will follow at the Pilot Mountain City Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:30 to 2 p.m. prior to the service Saturday at Olive Grove Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions to Olive Grove Baptist Church Building Fund, Attn.: Barbara White, 2131 Volunteer Road, Pinnacle, NC 27043. The Flynn family is being served by Howell Funeral Service of Pilot Mountain. The family wishes to express their heartfelt thanks to the staff of Universal Health Care of King.
