Funeral services will begin at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Crofton United Methodist Church in rural Crofton, with the Revs. Melba Trammer and Mark Phillips officiating. Burial will be in Frankfort Cemetery in rural Crofton. Pallbearers will be Wayne Juel, Gale Brown, Jerry Kuehn, Kenneth Jacob, Larry Jacob, and Gene Jacob. Visitation will be from 2-9 p.m. Friday at the Ray Funeral Chapel in Yankton, and one hour prior to service time at the church. A scripture service will b eheld at 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral chapel, with the family being present from 7-9 p.m. in the Hospitality Center at the funeral chapel. Mr. Kruse was born Dec. 26, 1907, in Crofton, to Gust and Anna (Heileman) Kruse. He grew up on a farm in rural Crofton and he attended the West Blyville School. He farmed with his brother, Marvin, and their father until 1935. In 1947, they disolved their partership and he farmed for himself until 1973. when he retired and moved to Bloomfield. He married Miriam Jacob on Jan 1, 1942, at the Jacob family home. He was a member of the Crofton United Methodist Church. Survivors include his wife, Miriam, of Yankton; and one brother Marvin, of Yankton. He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister and one brother.
