Description	:	Milton H. Lee LEE, Milton H. Born November 20, 1917 in Pine River, Minnesota. He passed away peacefully in Roseville, California on September 13, 2004. He was a resident of Sacramento for the last 48 years until the recent passing of his wife of 59 years, Laura Lee, in August. Since August he lived in Granite Bay, California with friends. Read More	Milton H. Lee LEE, Milton H. Born November 20, 1917 in Pine River, Minnesota. He passed away peacefully in Roseville, California on September 13, 2004. He was a resident of Sacramento for the last 48 years until the recent passing of his wife of 59 years, Laura Lee, in August. Since August he lived in Granite Bay, California with friends. He was an active member of Bethel Lutheran Church and loved the Lord Jesus Christ. He was a father who loved his five children and was loved by his children, Evelyn Lee who proceeded him in death, Frank Lee of Concord, Fredrick Lee of Auburn, Kristine Bracamonte of Citrus Heights, Douglas Lee of Lafayette, and three daughters in-law, Magali, Kathy, and Ginny. He also leaves behind 11 grandchildren, Steven, Jesse, Tonya, Heidi, Michael, Rachel, Ryan, Nicole, Ginger, Christopher, and Jennifer, and 3 great grandchildren, Christian, Alex, and Ivy. He enjoyed them greatly. He is survived also by a brother, Ray Lee of Chico, and three sisters, Violet Ranck of Groveland, Eva Temple of Citrus Heights, and Wilma Foster of Citrus Heights, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends. He was a veteran of World War II, serving in England, France and Germany. After returning home he served in the California National Guard and later in the Air Force Reserve from which he retired. He worked as an aircraft mechanic at McClellan Air Force Base, retiring in 1976 after 20 years on the job. He was a generous and active man. He gave more than 30 gallons of blood over his lifetime, volunteered for Boy Scout committee membership, youth mentoring programs and many other causes. He played baseball with the Golden Seniors baseball team. Those who knew him will remember is love of conversation and story telling. Family and friends are invited to a memorial service on September 18 at 11am at Bethel Lutheran Church, 1200 Alamos Ave, North Sacramento, CA. Graveside service and honor guard will be on September 19 at 2pm at Sunset Lawn, 4701 Marysville Blvd., Sacramento, CA. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made in Milton's name to Bethel Lutheran Church or a charity of your choosing. Published in the Sacramento Bee from 9/16/2004 - 9/17/2004.
