She emigrated to United States with her parents when five years old, and first settled with them in the state of New York where they lived until spring of 1876. In that year her parents came to Kansas where she lived ever since. Minna D. was confirmed April 17, 1871 by Rev. Bond and became a member of the Lutheran church. Her father died fourteen years ago. Miss Minna D. led a quiet life of seclusion, assisting her mother in the many tasks of life. In conservation she was very intelligent and winsome. The late sister died suddenly and unexpectedly early in the morning of Dec. 17; the cause of her death being blood poisoning.Her age was forty years, five months and 22 days. She leaves her mother and one brother to mourn her loss and a circle of distant relatives. The funeral took place on Wednesday; Rev. Schimmelpfennig officiating. Text of address: John 20:15-16. The choir rendered appropriate songs. The casket was decorated with tokens of love and respect. The mortal remains were interred in the cemetery of Glasco.
