Description	:	Minnie Florence (Hockett) Case was born May 9, 1877, in Salem, Iowa, the daughter of Nathan N. and Avaline (Crosbie) Hockett. On December 6, 1901, she married Marshall E. Case in Round Prairie Township, Jefferson County, Iowa, where she and her husband spent most of their married life. They moved from a farm near Glasgow to Fairfield in 1946. Her funeral was at the Hoskins Funeral Home with the Rev. S.P. Williamson officiating. Burial was in the Evergreen Cemetery. She was survived by her husband; her son Frank of Glendale, California; a grandson; her brother Howard M. Hockett of Palm Beach, Florida; and her sister Mrs. Jesse J. Frary of Greeley, Colorado.
