They start out in life with the best wishes of their many friends. ************** MOLLIE MOSTELLER Mollie Leone Turner, the daughter of William T. and Caroline Mohr Turner, was born April 2, 1898, near Bassett, Rock County, Nebraska. She passed away June 30, 1968 at the Falls City Community Hospital at the age of 70 years. At the age of twelve she moved with her parents to DuBois, Nebr., where she attended public school, graduating from the tenth grade in DuBois and later graduating from Auburn High School. She them taught two terms in rural school. On May 9, 1917, she was united in marriage to J. Verner Farwell. To this union were born one son and two daughters. Mr. Farwell passed away in 1940. In 1948 she was united in marriage to Harold Mosteller. In early life she became a member of the United Brethren Church, later transferring to the Methodist Church. She was active in her church, in community affairs, in the garden club, and as a member of the Pythian Sisters. Surviving are her husband, her son, Lyle Farwell of DuBois; two daughters, Mrs. Avis Uhri of Van Nuys, Calif., and Mrs. Robert Losey (Reva) of Kettering, Ohio; nine grandchildren; one great grandson; numerous nephews and nieces, and many friends. Funeral services were held July 5 at the United Methodist Church in DuBois with Rev. Claude McNinn and Rev. W. N. Wallis officiating. Mrs. John Wherry and Mrs. Richard Turnbull sang "Beautiful Isle of Somewhere" and "God Will Take Care of You," accompanied by Mrs. Ross Thiemann. Pallbearers were Dean Lair, Max Church, Wilmer Howard, Donald Hayward, Edward Bohm, Robert Droge. Burial was in the DuBois cemetery. (Unknown Newspaper Clipping)
