She was born near Humboldt, Kansas, March 21, 1910, the daughter of William and Matilda Schultz-Stranghoner. She was married to Raymond Leroy Sept. 25, 1929, in Iola, Kansas. He died Feb. 15, 1981. She was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church in Chanute, KS, and the Women's Circle.
