December 10, 1943. When an infant she with her parents moved to Clarke county. III., and later they came to settle on a farm near Murray, Iowa. Read More	Nancy Adeline Davis Mrs. Nancy Adaline Davis was born In Clark County, Indiana, June 27, 1862 and passed away at the home of her daughter in Ottumwa, Iowa, Friday evening. December 10, 1943. When an infant she with her parents moved to Clarke county. III., and later they came to settle on a farm near Murray, Iowa. On June 12, 1873 she was united in marriage With James E. Davis who preceded her in death December 26, 1926. To this union were born three daughters, only one remained, Mrs. J. W. Roberts of Ottumwa, Iowa. She was united with the Lacelle Baptist church, later transferring her membership to the Murray Church of Christ, where she remained a faithful worker until the failure of her health. On December 2, 1930 she was united in marriage with M.E. Davis. All who know her, appreciated her friendship, kindness and love. She was a good and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Her passing will be deeply felt by the many friends and relatives. She leaves to mourn her passing; her devoted husband, one daughter, six grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren, one great great grandchild, and a host of other relatives and friends. Services were conducted from the Murray Church of Christ, Dec. 14, 1943 and burial was in the Murray cemetery. Rev. Everett Epperson, minister officiated and the Watts Funeral Home was in charge.
