Nancy Dennis, widow of the late Morgan Flower, died at her home in this city Saturday evening, after an illness of two weeks from pneumonia. Mrs. Flower was born in Muskingham county, O., July 24th, 1831, and came to this county with her father, John Dennis, in 1848. Two years later she was married to Morgan Flower, who died in this city February 12th of the present year. One child, Orlando Flower, was born to them. Mr. and Mrs. Flower resided in Cedar township for many years, but removed to this city when they retired from active life. The wife and mother had many warm friends among the older people of the community, for she was a good woman in all the relations of life. Funeral services, conducted by Rev. J. F. Magill, pastor of the Presbyterian church, were held at the residence of the son of South Main street Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock, and were largely attended by old friends and neighbors.
