Description	:	Neal Debbs Jones was born on January 26, 1894, in Palouse City, Washington, son of David Grant Monroe Jones and Alice Arena Armagost. In 1898 they returned to Nebraska and their families after seven years in Washington State. Nebraska is where Neal met “June” as he called her. Nellie “June” Skinner was born on June 12, 1893, in Gresham, Nebraska, to homesteaders John Skinner and Anna Belle Anderson. John and Anna’s families have deep history in Venango, Pennsylvania. Read More	Neal Debbs Jones was born on January 26, 1894, in Palouse City, Washington, son of David Grant Monroe Jones and Alice Arena Armagost. Neal and June married May 5, 1916, both age 22. They had five children Norma Elaine, Delano David, Rupert Ray, Dorothea and Anna Belle. Delano only survived this world a year and is buried in Nebraska. Neal was a talented man. His life was successful as a farmer, baker, house mover, and ship builder. After their children were nearly grown, June and Neal followed his dream to become a Merchant Marine in California. After a time at sea and constantly hanging his head over the rail sick he returned to San Francisco. Neal found a job in the ship yards. June worked in the laundry at St Luke’s Hospital. Her untimely death left Neal a widow June 9, 1947. Neal later married Martha Pearl Garver May and they moved to Rio Linda, California. Martha passed away 31 years later in Rio Linda and Neal returned to the bay area to live the balance of his life at the Odd Fellows Home in Saratoga, California. Neal passed away October 26, 1985, and was returned to Rio Linda and buried next to Martha at Sunset Lawn Memorial Park.
