F. K. Allen. Deceased had been in very poor health for a number of years, suffering from Bright's disease, and complications. He departed this life, at the home of his parents, Thursday, Oct. 1, at 10:35 p. m., at the age of 48 years, 5 months, 14 days. Harry Nelson Fisher, eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. John Fisher, was born April 17, 1888, seven miles east of Loup City, At the age of eighteen he went to St. Paul, taking two years in business college. He also learned the barber trade. On August 9, 1908, he was united in marriage to Clara Lillian Smith of St. Paul. To this union were born three daughters and two sons, Mrs. Harriet Ford of Ft. Lyons, Colo., Mrs. Eloise Giddings of Modale, Iowa, Russel and John Jr [sic] at home, and Fern Faye. In 1918 the home was visited by death, taking the wife and mother, leaving Fern Faye five days old, who has since lived with her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. John Fisher. August 18, 1922 he was married to olive Girton of Mondamin, Iowa. To this union five children were born, two daughters and three sons, three of whom preceded the father in death while in infancy. Those surviving are Thuraldine, aged 11, and Rudy Lee, aged seven months. Mr. Fisher leaves to mourn his passing, his wife, Olive, seven children, five granddaughters, his parents, one brother, John Archie, three sisters, Mrs. Inez Bly, Mrs. Bessie Adams and Mrs. Lucille Steele, a grandmother, Mrs. Lizzie Ware, also other relatives and a host of friends. A large crown of friends and most of the relatives were in attendance at the funeral to pay their last respects to the departed. The body was laid to rest in the family lot in Evergreen cemetery.
