Description	:	Olive F. Kauffman, 94, a long time Park County resident, died at the Livingston memorial Hospital early Friday morning, Feb 8, 1991, after a short illness. Cremation has taken place, and committal services for burial of her ashes will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Feb 12, 199l, at Shorthill Cemetery. The Franzen-Davis-Bebee Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. She was born on March 7, 1896, in Joliet to Norman and Addie Lyons. By way of covered wagen, she traveled with her parents to Idaho in 1898 and returned to the Paradise Valley south of Livingston in 1904. She attended the Rosedale School in Paradise Valley and later attended Bozeman High School. She married Charles J. Kauffman in 1913 in Livingston, and they ranched on Elbow Creek in Paradise Valley until his death on Nov. 24, 1965. She remained on the ranch until moving to Livingston in 1966. She was member of the Pine Creek Methodist Church, a charter member of the Star of Hope Ladies in Paradise Valley, the Park County Pioneer Society, the Park County Senior Citizens and the Royal Neighbors. Survivors include her nieces and nephews, Beryl Foltz of Livingston, Clifford Lambert of Mysham, Agnes O'Hair of Livingston, Miriam Wright of Superior and friends Dorothy hardin and Joyce Libsack of Livingston. In addition to her husband, she was also preceded in death by a daughter, Roxlyn Sworder, and a granddaughter, Charlett Brummond. Livingston Enterprise February 11, 1991
