Description	:	Olivia was the 2nd child of Ludwig and Julia Spamer. In 1865, "Ollie", as she was known to her family, graduated from Eastern Female High School, Aisquith Street in Baltimore City. The Baltimore Sun said she graduated with honors and delivered the valedictorian address that year. Ollie was one of the 3 Spamer sisters who never married. Spamer, 68 years old, died yesterday morning at her home, 2202 Guilford Avenue. Her death was due to heart failure. Until last August, when she slipped on a mat and fell to the floor, her leg being broken, Miss Spamer had enjoyed splendid health and she used to say that she full expected to round out her days as an octogenarian. But she was compelled to spend several months in the Hospital for the Women of Maryland, and the long confinement brought on heart trouble. For many years Miss Spamer taught at Male Grammar School No. 17, Washington Street near Fairmount Avenue. She leaves four brothers and two sisters." Apparently, one of her students was Hiram A. McAfee (Find-a-Grave #37681655) one of the firemen killed in a terrible Baltimore fire in 1888.
