Mr. Maynard was well known in Westfield and was respected by all who knew him. He was a member of the Masons and they had charge of the funeral service. The sermon was preached by Rev. James, of Westfield, and a long concourse of teams followed the remains to the grave, which was made in the Richland cemetery.
