He was born on July 27, 1924, in Green township to Lloyd and Cyrena (Getz) Heaver. Mr. Heaver was a resident of Springfield Township since the age of four. Read More	6 May - The Review Paul Edgar Heaver NEW SPRINGFIELD - Paul Edgar Heaver, 79, died at 12:45 Sunday at the Boardman Campus of St. Elizabeth Medical Center after becoming ill at home. He was born on July 27, 1924, in Green township to Lloyd and Cyrena (Getz) Heaver. Mr. Heaver was a resident of Springfield Township since the age of four. He was a part time farmer and a truck driver for 25 years for Fowler Construction, retiring in 1982. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II, seeing action in three battles in the European Theater. A 1942 graduate of Petersburgh High School, he served on the Springfield Volunteer Fire Department and was a member of the Greenford Christian Church. He is survived by his wife, the former Martha Pauline Weaver whom he married on March 15, 1947; three sons, Bruce of Brunswick, Randall of North Lima and Dennis of Columbiana; and eight grandchildren. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Arbaugh Pearce Greenisen Funeral Home in Salem with the Rev. John L. Seders officiating. Burial will follow in Hope Cemetery in Salem. Calling hours will be held form 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and for one hour prior to the services Thursday at the funeral home.
