Description	:	Paul Parker Dowler was born February 23, 1908 in Shannon County, to Louis Minor and Lona(Parker) Dowler. He passed away March 24, 1997 at the age of 89. He was united in marriage on March 28, 1932 to Lillian Mae Bradford and unto this union five children were born. He is survived by three sons, William M. Dowler of Clemson, South Carolina, Ben B. Dowler of Birch Tree, MO, Wesley L. Dowler of Tuscaloosa, AL; two daughters, Betty Sue Hall of Lexington, KY and Laura Ann Zahn of Sedalia, MO; 12 grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Dowler of Birch Tree, MO, Wesley L. Dowler of Tuscaloosa, AL; two daughters, Betty Sue Hall of Lexington, KY and Laura Ann Zahn of Sedalia, MO; 12 grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Paul was a member of the United Methodist Church of Birch Tree and was active in the church and community throughout his life. He was a full time farmer and was active until recently. The farm where he and Lillian lived for 64 years has been in the Dowler family for over 100 years, and became a Missouri Centennial Farm in 1982. He was a devoted husband and father and will be fondly remembered by his family and friends. Funeral services were held at 2:00 pm Wednesday, March 26, 1997 at the United Methodist Church in Birch Tree with Rev. Fred Zahn officiating. Interment was in the Oak Forest Cemetery in Birch Tree under the direction of the Duncan Funeral Home in Birch Tree. In lieu of floweres, the family request that donations be made to the United Methodist Church of Birch Tree.
